Introduction to Lella Vignelli

Two Swedish designers, Samira Bouabana and Angela Tillman Sperandio, started the Hall of Femmes series in 2009, publishing as Oyster Press. They have profiled Ruth Ansel (2010), Lillian Bassman (2010), Janet Froelich (2010), Carin Goldberg (2010), Paula Scher (2011), Tomiko Miho (2013) and Lella Vignelli (2013). I was invited to write the introduction for Lella’s book.
